When I click the open button on the device card, it says OPEN SOON. What does this mean?
OPEN SOON is a pending state, not the final door status.
After you tap a command button, the command has two stages: first it is sent to the cloud, then it is executed by the coop door.
When the card shows OPEN SOON, the first step is complete: the app and cloud have accepted the command, but the coop door has not executed the command yet. The device may still be waiting for its next Wi-Fi wake-up.
The same idea applies to CLOSE SOON: it means the close command is waiting for the coop door to execute it.
After the second step finishes, the card refreshes to the real result reported by the device. For a close command, this is where you should see CLOSED; for an open command, you should see OPEN.
